Who we are...
We are a small non-for-profit organization that is dedicated to supporting families that are in need. We started because we were blessed with the gift of a 12 year old daughter Grace, that was diagnosed with Stargardt's Disease, macular degeneration that affects children.
What we hope to accomplish...
Receiving the challenging news that your child has a disease that does not have a cure can change your perception of what life will be like. Our mission is dedicated to supporting families that are faced with this type of situation, and promoting vision research so one day we will find a cure.
What do we support?
Retinal research is expensive and needs funding to continue at the light speed it has reached in recent years.
The Foundation Fighting Blindness has been a wonderful place for us to turn for information, a portion of the money we collect goes to support their initiatives such as the VISIONS conference.
PEOPLE LIKE GRACE:
Grace was diagnosed at age 6, but many people throughout the world are living with this disease and waiting for a cure. We would hope that once one is found we can ensure that others affected can afford treatment.
